TERMS & CONDITIONS
No Hassle Event Hire – Rental Agreement
Thank you for booking with No Hassle Event Hire. By paying your deposit and confirming your booking, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Responsibilities
Customer Responsibilities
1. The customer is responsible for the care and proper use of all hired items.
2. Any loss, damage, or misuse of No Hassle Event Hire equipment is the customer’s responsibility.
3. The customer is responsible for the behaviour of their guests and ensuring items are used safely.
4. For bartender hire: No Hassle Event Hire provides the bartender, tools, and agreed extras. We do not supply alcohol.
5. For photo booth hire: the customer must ensure there is suitable space, power access, and venue permission for setup.
No Hassle Event Hire Responsibilities
1. We will provide the booked items or services at the agreed date, time, and location.
2. We will ensure equipment is in good working order on delivery/setup.
3. Our staff will provide professional and responsible service at all times.

Payments & Deposits
• A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
• The balance is due 4 days prior your event date.
• All prices include GST.
• Travel/delivery fees may apply outside Palmerston North and Whanganui.

Bond
• A refundable bond (minimum $200) may be required, depending on your booking.
• Bonds are refunded within 3 working days after inspection, provided there is no damage, loss, or extra cleaning required.

Hire Period
• Standard hire periods will be confirmed at the time of booking.
• Overtime or late returns may incur additional charges.
• Photo booth hire is for the agreed session time only.

Delivery & Collection
• Delivery charges apply outside Palmerston North and Whanganui.
• Delivery is “drop & go” unless setup has been arranged in advance.
• Bartenders arrive with enough time to set up before service.

Cancellations
• 4+ weeks before event → 50% of deposit refunded.
• 2–4 weeks before event → 25% of deposit refunded.
• Less than 2 weeks before event → deposit is non-refundable.
• COVID or force majeure cancellations may be eligible for a credit valid for 12 months.

Care of Items
• All hired items must be returned in clean condition.
• Cleaning fees may be deducted from the bond if items are returned soiled.
• Lost or irreparably damaged items will be charged at full replacement cost.

Alcohol Responsibility
• No Hassle Event Hire does not supply alcohol. Customers must provide their own.
• Our bartenders will serve responsibly and may refuse service to intoxicated guests in line with NZ law.

No Hassle Event Hire is not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from misuse of equipment, alcohol consumption, or guest behaviour. The customer is responsible for guest safety during the event.
